JCM Scaffolding LTD was contracted to provide specialist access for a series of solar panel installations across Bramhall, Didsbury, and Sale. Each site required a rapid turnaround to keep the projects on schedule. We installed independent scaffolds featuring triple guard rails to provide maximum fall protection at the roofline. To assist the solar engineers with moving heavy panels and equipment, we integrated gin wheels and ensured site security with locked ladder guards on every structure.

Our Approach
Each structure was fully erected within a single day to ensure the solar contractors could begin work immediately, with the scaffold typically remaining on-site for one week.
Our team coordinated logistics to ensure all three sites were erected quickly, minimising disruption to the homeowners’ driveways and gardens.
We went beyond standard requirements by installing triple guard rails and locked ladder guards to prevent unauthorised access.
By installing gin wheels at the roof level, we enabled the safe and efficient hoisting of solar panels, reducing manual handling risks for the installers.
Once the installations were commissioned and tested, we returned to the sites for a prompt strike-down at the clients’ request.
